Education is one of the fields where South Asian young achievers can make the most difference, both as role models and as teachers or trainers.

Those who help to facilitate the overcoming of challenges and show the way for children facing barriers of their own are highly prized and all the more powerful if they represent disadvantaged communities. Our judges will be looking for entrants from any part of the education sector, from nursery to university and beyond, who are shining a torch for others to follow.

We are also looking for entrants of young South Asian children who have made huge strides in school or college and have received fabulous results. These are the youngsters who show others just what can be achieved by application, hard work and determination. We want to know their stories of success and how they got there
